The Tucson Alphas served as the official hospitality sponsor for A Better Community’s fourth annual event at The Dunbar.
A $1,500 sponsorship helped provide hospitality for the community gathering. In its October 8 recap, ABC reported 250 residents attending. The event connected HBCU awareness, Divine Nine organizations, and local families.

Mentoring · Opening session
The mentoring program opened its fall small-group cohort with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona.
The September opening connected chapter mentors, youth, and families. Prospective mentors follow the partner’s volunteer enrollment process; contact the chapter for the current schedule.

The chapter announced a May 2 graduation at Holladay Fine Arts Magnet School to close the Alpha G.E.N.T.S. school-year program.
The chapter’s May 1 announcement recognized months of mentorship, leadership development, and the families and brothers who helped sustain the program.

Alpha Foundation Inc. and the Tucson Alphas came together to recognize students and support educational opportunity.
The program at Tucson Country Club featured keynote speaker Marquis Scott and guest speaker Richard Davis. Information for the next scholarship cycle will be added after confirmation.

Eta Psi Lambda and Zeta Theta hosted seven Alpha G.E.N.T.S. students at the University of Arizona.
Nine brothers and mentors supported the visit, which included the African American Museum of Southern Arizona and a campus tour coordinated by Zyon McEachin.

A mentorship session brought interactive learning, teamwork, and fitness activities to participating youth.
Parents and guardians took part in the day, while chapter brothers led activities and provided guidance. The after-action report documented eight participating students.
